College Readiness Day

Preparing for Success

College Readiness Day is intended to give our students the best opportunity for success on the ACT.  Students in 9th and 10th grade will take the ACT Aspire and students in 11th grade will take the practice ACT. These practice exams will help students to better understand where they demonstrate college readiness competency.  Additionally, teachers and students will receive feedback identifying specific content to focus on in order to improve.

At CCHS, we feel as if the steady growth and improvement to a school composite score of 25.3 on the State ACT in 2015 is a direct result of students having an opportunity to practice in the fall and to learn about their strengths.   Teachers and administrators have pledged to do their part to preserve our reputation of excellence, and we know you will join us.  Further details for the College Readiness Day testing will be published on the CCHS website.
