Registration Process for most students:
    1. Take scheduled English-placement exam.
    2. Meet with a counselor to receive CCHS information and select classes. A parent or guardian must attend this meeting with the student. To prepare for the meeting please familiarize yourself with the CCHS Registration Guide, which can be found at www.cchs.ccsd.k12.co.us. Please bring check-out grades, a transcript (can be unofficial), or at least a recent report card when meeting with the counselor.
    3. Check in. Once the check-in paperwork is complete, a peer ambassador will take you to each of the check-in offices. (If enrolling during the spring or summer for the following year, you will check-in with the rest of your class in August) When the check-in process is complete, the checklist form will be turned in to the Registrar's Office and the student will be given a Bear Facts student handbook.

Registration Process for students with a current IEP (Special Education):

The counseling Office will send your contact information to the Student Achievement Services Department, and a representative of that department will contact you about a meeting date to select classes.

Parent Information

A student folder, which includes information about clubs and general information about CCHS, will be given to students when checking in for their counselor conference.

School of Choice

The Cherry Creek School District allows its resident students to apply for enrollment in the Cherry Creek school/program of their choice.  In other words, you may request that your child attend a Cherry Creek school outside your assigned attendance area.  The School of Choice application process beginning with the 2015-2016 school year will be an electronic application that you will be able to access online from January 1st - February 1st from any computer, at any time.  Please note that there will be NO PAPER FORMS available for the School of Choice application process.

There is a limit of one (1) application per student and all information is verified for accuracy. Applications are considered on a space available basis with priority given to families with siblings at the school and to the children of employees of the district.  Parents will be notified of the decision by March 15th and any appeals must be submitted in writing to District Admissions by April 15th.

Students currently attending a school under School of Choice or an IntraDistrict Transfer approved to the highest grade level do not need to submit an application to return to that school next year.   Non-Resident applications will be available online starting April 1st.

Shadowing and Tours (Please click HERE for letter)

For new and prospective students who currently attend school outside of the Cherry Creek High School feeder system, a shadow and tour option is available.  The shadowing experience is available from early November to late March.  To arrange a meeting and tour or register for a whole-day or half-day shadowing experience, please contact Michael Mazenko, at 720-554-2185.
