Patti Brazill
 
     Patti Brazill has been teaching AP economics, both macro and micro, for the past eighteen years at Irondequoit High School in Western New York.  She came to teaching after a brief career as a mortgage-backed securities broker on Wall Street, and a somewhat longer career as a stay-at –home mom.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the State University of New York and her Master’s degree in Public Policy from New York University.
   Patti has been an exam reader for the AP Economics exam for the past ten years, a table leader for five, and has been a presenter at the National AP College Board Conference.  She serves as the co-chair of the test development committee for macro economics.
 Patti lives with her husband, Roger, in a Rochester suburb. They have 2 daughters, Caitlyn, who also has a master’s degree in Public Policy from NYU and lives and works in New York, and Julia, who lives and works in Portland, OR. When not grading papers, Patti enjoys travel, biking, sailing and quilting.
