Bio: Frank Briguglio has been a teacher of English for over forty years, both in public and private schools. Frank teaches AP Literature and English 10 Honors at Iolani School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has served as English department chair, as a mentor for new teachers, and as an AP Literature Reader, as a Table Leader, as the

assistant to the Chief Reader, as the Question Leader for the Overseas AP English Literature Exam, and as the Question Leader for the Poetry Question for the AP Literature Exam. He is an AP consultant on both the national and international levels and co-chair of the AP Test Development Committee for English Literature and Composition. Frank is a presenter at the NCTE and APAC. He is the chairperson of Iolani School's Keables Committee and has worked with guest poets including Li-Young Lee, Billy Collins, Taylor Mali, and Sarah Kay.

Class Preparation: Please bring a pen, some paper and your questions regarding AP English. I will organize teams and ask you to present how to teach a poem from my class binder.
