Rebecca Small
Rebecca Small is an Advanced Placement (AP) United States Government & Politics and AP Comparative Government & Politics teacher at Oakton High School in Fairfax County, Virginia.  Rebecca has participated in the scoring of the free response section of the AP Government exams as a reader, table leader and question leader since 1998. She served on the AP Government test development committee for five years and continues to write for several College Board exams on a contractual basis. She has been training teachers nation-wide in both one day and week long summer institutes since 2000. She has several publications, including AP US Government Teacher’s Guide (College Board) and Interpreting Political Data (People's Publishing) for use in the AP US Government & Politics course. For use in the Comparative Government & Politics course she has published Using Data to Study Level of Development (College Board) and
Fast Track to a 5:  Preparing for the AP Comparative Government Exam (Pearson). Rebecca is a National Board Certified teacher. She resides in Herndon Virginia with her husband and two children.
