Parking
Dear Cherry Creek Students and Parents,
Below, you will find parking updates specific to grades. We have been working with district leadership, the City of Greenwood Village, and other groups in the area to address our parking needs for our students. Our goal is to create a plan that will keep our students safe while also being a good neighbor to residents and businesses in the area. Our plan is not yet finalized, but we feel it’s appropriate to share reminders and additional information as it becomes available. Please find your class below and the information that applies:
Class of 2027
Based on multiple years of student driver data, we anticipate we will be able to accommodate on-campus parking for most, if not all, seniors. We will have 600 parking spots across 5 CCHS campus lots that are exclusive to the Senior class. Please read below for important information and deadlines for obtaining a Senior Parking Decal. Seniors are not allowed to park on campus during the school day without a valid ’26-’27 parking decal.
To be eligible to purchase a ’26 – ’27 CCHS SENIOR Parking Decal, you must:
a) Have all MySchoolBucks (MSB) invoices paid for by Monday, June 15th, 2026. If invoices aren’t cleared or paid by June 15th, 2026, you are not eligible to obtain a parking decal. When you log into your MSB account, you’ll see your student(s) listed on the dashboard. If you don’t see your student(s), you must link them to your account. Once linked, you’ll see any invoice balance that needs to be paid.
b) Be born before 8/17/2010 (16 years old by the first day of school) and have a valid driver’s license (no permits) by 8/20/2026.
Decal information:
a) Parking decals are $50 each and will likely sell out. These parking decals are first-come, first-serve and sold for a specific parking lot.
b) You must complete payment through MySchoolBucks to receive a parking decal. Parking decals can be picked up during the August Senior check-in.
c) It is possible that not every SENIOR will get a parking decal. There is a limit of one parking decal per student.
d) Parking on campus is a privilege. Part of our campus safety and security model is accountability for any faculty, staff, or student vehicles parked on our campus. Parking on campus without a valid parking decal will result in disciplinary consequences.
e) If a student utilizes a handicap placard and plans to park in our handicap spaces, they still are required to purchase a CCHS Parking Decal and go through the online process. Again, if a car is on our campus, we must know who the car belongs to.
f) If a student needs to get a new decal (ex, the decal is lost, stolen, or the car gets a new windshield) at any point, it will cost $10 to obtain a new decal, and the original decal must be scrapped off and returned if possible.
g) There are 5 senior parking lots available for the ’26 - ‘27 school year. NEW this year: seniors will purchase a decal for a specific parking lot and may park only in that lot. Once selected and purchased, there is no changing lots or switching decals. If a student is caught switching their decal with another student, both will lose the privilege of parking on campus.
h) Click HERE to view the 5 senior parking lots (Stutler, South, Aux, North, and East). You should have a backup lot in mind if your first choice is sold out.
i) If a parking decal isn’t picked up by August 28th, the parking decal will be forfeited, and the payment will be refunded. If refunded, there will not be another opportunity to purchase a senior decal.
j) If there is an increase in drivers in the senior class than what historical trends have been, those seniors will have priority for Village Greens parking.
Parking decal registration and payment will open for eligible seniors on Monday, JULY 6th, 2026, at 9 a.m. and will remain open until the decals sell out. All registration and payments must be made through MySchoolBucks (MSB). Please verify that you have a MSB account and that your Senior Student is linked to your account. If you don’t already have a MSB account, please click HERE to view instructions.
Class of 2028
We are thankful for our partnership with the City of Greenwood Village. Together, we created a parking plan that includes the Juniors and Village Greens Parks. This message is to share updated information regarding our junior parking plans.
Based on multiple years of student driver data, we anticipate we will be able to eventually accommodate off-campus parking for most, if not all, juniors. We will initially have 280 parking spots across two Village Greens parking lots. Please read below for important information and deadlines for obtaining a Junior Parking Decal. Juniors are not allowed to park on campus during the school day. Juniors are not allowed to park at Village Greens Park without a valid ’26-’27 parking decal.
To be eligible to purchase a ’26 – ’27 CCHS JUNIOR Parking Decal, you must:
a) Have all MySchoolBucks (MSB) invoices paid for by Monday, June 29th, 2026. If invoices aren’t cleared or paid by June 29th, 2026, you are not eligible to obtain a parking decal. The school will assign you to a lot (ex: Village Greens South or Villages Greens North). We are permitting the first 165 decals sold for the south lot and the next 115 sold for the north lot. Your purchase is time stamped once you’ve completed all steps and paid for your decal.

e) Parking off campus at Village Greens Park is a privilege. Part of our campus safety and security model is accountability for any faculty, staff, or student vehicles parked on our campus or at Village Greens Park. Parking at Village Greens Park without a valid parking decal will result in disciplinary consequences that could include your student’s vehicle being booted, ticketed, denied parking privileges or towed,
f) If a student utilizes a handicap placard and plans to park in our handicap spaces on campus, they still are required to purchase a CCHS Parking Decal and go through the online process. Again, if a car is on our campus, we must know who the car belongs to.
g) If a student needs to get a new decal (ex, the decal is lost, stolen, or the car gets a new windshield) at any point, it will cost $5 to obtain a new decal, and the original decal must be scrapped off and returned if possible.

i) Click HERE to view the two current junior parking lots (VG South and VG North). Once constructed, the third lot will be called VG Northwest.
j) Students must park in the white lines parking spaces at Village Greens Park.
k) If a parking decal isn’t picked up by August 28th, the parking decal will be forfeited, and the payment will be refunded. If refunded, there will not be another opportunity to purchase a junior decal.
Parking decal registration and payment will open for eligible juniors on Monday, JULY 20th, 2026, at 9 a.m. and will remain open until the decals sell out. All registration and payments must be made through MySchoolBucks (MSB). Please verify that you have a MSB account and that your Junior Student is linked to your account. We are finalizing plans for very limited parking options at a few local churches in the community. More information to follow.
Given our construction constraints, we strongly encourage carpooling in accordance with local laws, riding the bus, or walking/riding to campus when possible. We ask that you please make plans knowing that parking in residential areas isn’t permitted.
Thank you for your partnership.
Sincerely,
Kevin Uhlig
Assistant Principal
Cherry Creek High School
