Testing Dates and Information

AP EXAM INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

 

AP testing is May 5-16 at CCH. Testing follows the College Board schedule (See the AP Exam Schedule 2024-2025). The following AP exam information applies to all AP exams. Please read carefully.

MORNING EXAMS:

  • Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. Morning exams begin before school hours. Make plans to arrive early for AP exams.
  • Students will not be admitted to the exam after check-in concludes at 8:00 a.m.
  • Morning exam end times are approximate.  Very few, if any, will end prior to 12:00 p.m.

AFTERNOON EXAMS:

  • Check in begins at 11:30 a.m.
  • Students will not be admitted to the exam after check-in concludes at 12:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon exam end times are approximate. Exams continue to 4:00 p.m. and beyond. Afternoon exams continue past the end of school hours. Communicate with coaches, parents, employers, etc. about the possibility of a late end time. Phones can not be accessed during testing. Plan ahead.

  • Check-In Location: West Trophy Hallway outside the Gyms, unless otherwise noted.
  • Bring Student ID (Minga or physical) or Driver’s License – students will not be admitted without an ID.
  • DIGITAL EXAMS: bring your fully charged computer & charging cable.
  • DIGITAL EXAMS: Know your College Board Log In information
  • Bring several No. 2 wood pencils and blue or black pens
  • Bring an approved calculator (if applicable). See Calculator Information HERE.

Textbook Return will be available at AP Check in. Bring your AP Textbook to return.

TEST DETAILS:

Students will be informed of their test location when they check in on the day of their exam.

Cell phones, smart watches, and computers are not permitted. Electronic devices will be collected at the beginning of the exam and students will not have access to devices until testing is finished.  Best strategy is not to bring electronic devices into the testing room. See “What to bring on AP exam day” HERE.

Students’ attendance will be recorded as “Testing” for the duration of their exams. Attendance is updated by the dean’s offices and testing staff when exam check in is complete. Please allow time for attendance updates.

Students taking morning exams will be excused from class during periods 1-5. Students taking afternoon exams will be excused from class during periods 4-8.

AP Scores will be available in early July on APScore.org.
